PIX Authentication 17 Years, 10 Months ago

|
I'm having problems connecting to my PIX firewalls. As per previous posts i have ssh1, compression set to none, port forwarding is blank and X forwarding is uchecked.
Whenever i try to log into a PIX firewall the authentication fails. I can log into the same firewalls using the same log on credentials with other SSH clients (Putty).

Hi!
Do you get 'authentication failed' or a more generic failure message? Is this router accessible to the outside world or just inside of your network?
I'm very interested to clear this up. Get back to me as soon as you get a chance.

i just get an "authentication failed, please retry" message.

Can you send me an email? We need to arrange further testing, but I might need some more specific info about this box...
