AbsoluteTelnet Tabbed Interface

E-mail Print

AbsoluteTelnet/SSH introduce the tabbed interface in the version 5 line of software.  By using the tabbed interaface, users can gain productivity by eliminating window clutter on the desktop.  All terminal windows are contained within a single top-level application window and accessible through a tabbed window control.  Of course, there's always the option to open multiple top-level windows instead of additional tabs if you wish.

I switched to AbsoluteTelnet after getting very frustrated with PCXWare approximately two years ago. PCXWare was a very "heavy" application that took a long time to load and also conflicted with other desktop applications such as Lotus Notes, resulting in frequent GPFs. I'm very pleased with AbsoluteTelnet. It is easy to use, is quite robust, is not a heavy application, and does not conflict with any of my other desktop applications. -- Ron Menich - Talus Solutions
