Connection Problem 22 Years, 1 Month ago

Hi,
We have a software running on WIndows 95. We are trying to use "Absolute Telnet" as an emulator to execute that application on Windows 2000 platform so that we need not make the necessary changes due the change in operating platform. We have given the Host Name as the Windows 95 system's IP address. It throws the error: "Winsock Error, Connection Refused".
Kindly suggest me how to proceed further. Can you please give us some user manual regarding how to use the software.
Thanks and Regards
Dipankar

I don't think you've got the right idea about what type of emulation software this is. Absolutetelnet is a terminal emulation program that will allow you to connect to remote hosts using the telnet, ssh1, or ssh2 protocol. It has nothing to do with emulating a Windows95 box in a Windows2000 environment.
