I've come across a rather odd problem with Absolute Telnet 5.06.
I ssh to a server. When I try to ssh from that server to any other system, I get the error "error in SSH2: incompatible algorithm id" and the ssh session initiated from Abs Tel terminates.
Has anyone seen this problem?

What type of authentication are you using for the connection from AbsoluteTelnet?
In order of preference
twofish-256-cbc
blowfish
3des
aes-256-cbc
arcfour
cast128
This problem did not exist with Version 4.x and earlier.
Those are the encryption settings. What about authentication? Are you using smartcard, password, publickey (rsa or dsa)
Authentication is done using pblic key (dsa).
In version 4.51, I added a feature to allow you to use a private key held by AbsoluteTelnet to authenticate not only to the first machine you ssh to, but also to each machine you hop to from there. This feature works with both publickey and smartcard authentication, but apparently only works with rsa keypairs and not dsa. I've made a fix. Give this a try:

It works now. Thanks for the quick fix.
