I am fairly new to using a secure shell type of connection but I need to do some webwork at a host that requires 3DES. How do I do this using Absolute Telnet?

Jane,

The setting your are looking for is located on the Options->Properties->Connection page. Look on the SSH tab for 'Preferred Cipher Order'. Move 3DES to the top of the list. Put the hostname in the hostname box, and click OK. Back at the main window, hit the 'connect' button to initiate the connection.
