I reinstalled a linux system, and thus caused its ssh-key to be recreated.

How do I clear the key cache in absolute telnet? I can't seem to find a way, and the result is I get "cannot connect -- login failed".

Note that I tried ssh-ing in via other machines, and even via cygwin on the same (windows) machine--it works fine.

'login failed' should not be related to the key cache. It's possible that you've saved your password and that's causing you problems. Did you ever get this resolved?

No, unfortunately it has not been resolved. I'm pretty sure it is not saving the password, as it is querying me for it each time. What else can I do to help you diagnose what the issue is?
