Is there a way to specify a default download directory for file transfers? Most of my stuff ends up in the Program directory; one of these days I'm gonna accidentally delete an important AbsoluteTelnet file! 🙂

This has been on my "todo" list for a long time. Unfortunately, it keeps getting pushed to the back burner when more important things arrive. I'll see what I can do. Stay TUNED!!!!!

I've got a new beta that includes this functionality. You can try AbsoluteTelnet 1.82 RC4 at:

<old link removed> Please download version 1.82 or newer.

I've tested it on both Windows 2000 and Windows 95, but any additional testing you can do would be most helpful.

It works great in Win98 too. Thanks!
