I tried to transfer a directory that had many gigabytes of small files (I know -- wrong tool) -- it was taking way too long, so I just killed the transfer window (which forced me to close AbsoluteTelnet). When I started back up, SFTP no longer works. The transfer window opens, but it just spins and never displays anything other than "not responding". SFTP from other clients still works fine.
I tried rebooting -- no luck. I tried restarting the SSH service on the server -- no luck. I tried reinstalling AbsoluteTelnet -- no luck.
I miss SFTP. How can I fix it? (I have attached a screen shot of the dialog box.)
OK -- An Addendum:
It turns out, the window came up after about 10 minutes. I forgot it was open to get the screen shot and it suddenly refreshed and displayed the files a few seconds ago.
So suddenly it works fine. Transfers are just as fast as always and once it is up and the dialog box works normally. Wow -- this has been a problem for nearly two weeks and it looks like i just had to let it work through whatever issues it had with that botched transfer one time.
If it happens again, I'll post another message.
That is fairly odd, but I'm not sure how it could be related to the failed transfer, especially after the uninstall/reinstall.
Anything else you could tell us about this would be helpful.
