Anyone else have a problem with ZModem downloads in 9.49? When I try it, about half the time I get a message that the program (Absolute Telnet, not just the download) is being terminated. (Sorry, I don't recall the exact message; it's been a while.) Restarting the program and trying the same download again may work or may not, also about 50/50. Not a big deal; I just reverted to 9.18, which works fine for me and does not have the ZModem download problem.
I've seen the same thing using X modem and Y modem transfers. First attempt may or may not work, second attempt locks up the program and gives an error screen to email the info to the company. I've had it happen way too many times and have sent the info with no reply. I had to download another application just because of this issue.
I believe 9.53 fixes this. Can you give it a try and reply back here?
