This is a recent phenomenon (e.g. maybe since version 5?), but when I send a file with ZModem, if I activate any other active window (or minimize the Absolute Telnet window), then come back to AT, it seems frozen. It's actually not- the file transfer will continue and finish if I leave it alone - but the window is blank white, and you can't see the progress indicator or "cancel" button. Everything's just blank white.
It seems that during a ZModem session, once you leave the window, AT doesn't ever let Windows know it can respond to events. Or something.
Any chance this can be fixed? It's especially annoying with large transfers because it's hard to know if it's still doing anything or not. And of course I can't cancel it without killing the whole application from Task Manager.
Got it. I have been able to reproduce this problem and I've developed a solution. Give this download a try and let me know if it works for you.
<old link removed> Please download version 5.34 or newer.
Excellent. Works perfectly, thanks!
