I have been trying to log into our Nortel Networks switch on a dial-up connection, (emergency access), but I have been unable to send a break which is necessary to login into this type of switch. I have have tried various set-ups but have yet to be successful. I cannot believe that the answer is complex but alas, the solution would appear to be beyond me. Does anyone have any suggestions, I would appreciate any help.

You can send a break by holding down the control key and hitting the break key.
