I believe the release previous to 2.13 enabled BOTH Alt keys as Emacs Meta keys. 2.13 enables only the LEFT Alt key in this way. I'd sure like to use both of them again, as this is what my fingers are used to typing. Any chance that you could have a checkbox for BOTH?

Stephen,
Previous versions *did* allow the right-alt key to become the Emacs meta key. However, this was conflicting with users who need the right key to be the Alt-GR key which is used to help compose some characters that don't exist on a standard keyboard. I suppose I could add this as an option.
Stephen,
blame it on me... I am using a Swedish keyboard where AltGr is used for chars like "@" and "$". In some version of AT, I noticed some strange repeats of chars that involved AltGr (i.e. "@" -> "@@@"...) and Brian (of course) fixed it. Also as I recall left Alt = "META" is the "standard" of UNIX and emacs, isn't it ... 😉
Cheers,
/msa
