As it was within my year's license upgrade, I upgraded to AT 7.21 under Win XP Pro SP3. I SSH2 into a netBSD ISP. All is generally well, except that AT displays a bar at the top that for the life of me I have not been able to get rid of, but I want to, because it is hogging a line of my SSH2 session. (I use Pine in a shell account to read email and news.) At the top I have the title bar and the menu bar. Then there is a tool bar of buttons and the font used to display. Below that there is a bar with what appear to be tabs for whatever sessions I am using. However, I only use one session, and between now and Kingdom Come I only ever expect to be using one session at a time. For me personally, the feature of being able to tab between sessions is simply useless dead wood. But that tab bar (I suppose you might call it) is taking up a line on my session that I want. How do I get rid of it? I have tried and tried, but apart from going fullscreen, which do not ordinarily do -- and in that case the *&%$#@!*&^ tab bar is the only one showing!!! -- I cannot find a way to delete that bar.
AT is a good product and I have paid to use it for several years, but I am irritated that I cannot customize it to my needs. (I never asked for tabbed sessions and have literally no use for them.)

Paul,
You're in luck! The tabbed interface is an *install time* option. Just re-install and choose the classic interface. You may not have noticed this choice when you installed 7.21 the first time.
Thanks for your continued support!!

OK. That fixed it. Thanks. When I installed it the first time I took the "recommended" option, as I did not see any explanation of the two options in the installer.
