when I click on the license file you sent me, I just get a message saying 'absolute telnet is registered to Rockefeller University Information Technology'. It doesn't appear to install. Now that ver. 2.13 rc 17 is expired, I can no longer open it. And I dont want to install ver. 2.12; I need the features of rc 17 that you added at my suggestion. I need assistance as soon as possible as I cannot telnet at all.

Your license works fine. It's just that betas have a hard-coded timeout period so that they don't become circulated to the general population. There's no license that can extend the lifespan of a Beta.

If you want to make sure your license has been applied, check to make sure the name or your organization appears in the about box.
