Some or all of these may be possible already. If so, just let me know.

1. I've registered and the "BUY NOW" is gone from the tool bar; however, it's still there under "options."

2. It would be nice to be able to select either the "bar" cursor or a "block" cursor. It would also be nice to be able to select whether the cursor blinks or not.

3. When selecting text with the mouse, it selects all text on every line from the start point to the end point. It would be nice to be able to select either that mode (as the default) or a block mode where the text is selected in a block rather than line by line. As an example... if the starting position (x,y) is (10,5) and the ending position is (40,8), then the selection would be all text in the block on each line from 5 to 8 from characters 10 through 40. This (together with the (x,y) coordinates in the status line) makes using the client much easier to use when programming.

Correct. This is the way it has always been. You may, after all, want to buy more than one copy!

Officially, the server decides wheter you see a bar, block, or underline cursor. I could probably add this as an option, but the server may switch it back. As for blinking, I'll have to check on this... This seems to be the default behavior of a Windows(tm) caret.

Hold down the 'ALT' key while selecting for a rectangular select area. Is this what you're looking for?

Aha! That does the trick (alt+click/drag). Exactly what I was looking for. Phew... that was an annoying mystery now solved.

Then change it to "Buy another copy!" 😉

Probably the case -- you know this better than I do. I am just used to a solid block for a cursor and my client at work lets me select it. Just a quibble.

If this is made is an option, it should override the server settings and stay as the effecive behavior.

Windows default... 🙄

Thanks for the responses. I'm very happy with the client so far.
