Is there a way, or can there be a way, to specify the size of the scrollback buffer in lines? I have not found one and the default size is nowhere sufficient for my needs.

Currently, the scrollback size is limited to 4000 lines. There is no way to change it at the moment, but it's on my todo list.

If you could bump this item to the top of your list, it would be greatly appreciated. I'm losing the useful output of GCC.

Actually, it's in version 4.51. Just click the download link and get it. The option is on the Options->Properties->VTOptions page.
