How do I add more fonts to the font drop down selection? I have installed some nice TTF fonts in windows but they are never displayed in the dropdown list.

Thanks

AbsoluteTelnet can only use fixed-width fonts, so if the fonts you installed are proportionally spaced, Absolute cannot use them and won't show them in the dropdown. Most fonts used for word processing and typography are proportionally spaced(Arial, Tahoma, etc). Small letters like 'i' are thinner and occupy less horizontal space than big fat letters like 'M'. Terminal emulators rely on each character being exactly the same width to maintain alignment on the screen. This means that terminal emulators are restricted to using only fixed-width fonts such as Courier, FixedSys, Lucida Console and the like. If you are unhappy with the set of fonts available in Absolute, there are plenty out there on the web to choose from. Just make sure you restrict your search to fixed width fonts. Once installed in Windows, you *may* have to restart Absolute to get them to show up in the toolbar dropdown.
