This has happened occasionally in the past, but never often enough to be a problem. It involves what appears to be syncing or closing text sent by the "sz" process that shows up on the screen after the ZModem download has successfully finished. We have a customer site that is running Redhat Enterprise 5, and it seems to happen every time a ZModem download (Redhat to Windows) is done. Below is an example transcript of running the "sz" command from the Redhat command line (# in the first column is the Redhat command prompt):
# sz /tmp/pdf/root.pdf
0800000000022d
**^XB0800000000022d
-bash: **0800000000022d: command not found
#
# **0800000000022d
-bash: **0800000000022d: command not found
#

Any idea what's going on here? As I mentioned, the file (e.g., /tmp/pdf/root.pdf) is successfully downloaded intact, in spite of the trailing text from "sz".
