Not that it's high pri or anything, and it's kinda silly--but I was wondering if there was a chance to get a block cursor (with blinking or non-blinking option) put in sometime when you feel like just futzing around with little features?

It's on my todo list for 2.14. I'm trying to get 2.13 out the door right now, but it shouldn't be long.

I'll be adding an option for underline, vertical bar, and block cursor as well as blink and cursor color.

Stay tuned!!!

I'm using version 3.0 and trying to modify the cursor color and make it blink, but neither option appears to have any affect on the cursor. I always get a constant block that is the same color as the rest of the text on the screen. I assume that this is a configuration issue, but I have not been able to determine what setting must be changed to activate these settings.

With respect to the cursor color, I select the "User defined" radio button in the Appearance settings, but when I click on the "Choose" button, nothing happens. I then click on "OK" to close the Properties window and then re-open it and neither radio button for the cursor color is selected. Also, changing this setting does not display the normal "(modified)" string in the title bar.

Virtually the same thing happens with the cursor type (Underline, Vert, Block). Despite choosing one of the radio buttons, and sometimes the "Blink" checkbox, there is no affect on the cursor. The "(modified)" string does not appear, and when I go back into the Properties section, the radio buttons and checkbox are always un-selected.

Usually I use the following settings:
Colors: ANSI Defaults
TERM Type: VT100
Translation: ISO-8859-1

I've tried changing all of these options (are there others that would affect the cursor functionality?) but none have allowed the cursor to change color, blink, change shape, etc.

I've also tried connecting to multiple OSs (SCO and RH Linux 7.2 & 8.0) thinking that it was a shell thing. None have had any affect.

So what am I doing wrong? Like I said, I assume that this is a configuration issue, but I'm running out of ideas on what setting needs to be changed. If there is any other settings info that you require, please let me know.

Thanks

The cursor attributes are broken in 3.00. I've fixed at least the blink mode in the latest beta. Working on the others...

Brian,

Thanks for the info. It's not critical right now, so I'll just wait for the next release.

Nice job, by the way, I love this app.
