Hi Brian - something annoying happens when I have absolute telnet 9.18 running for a few days... The positions of the SFTP button, and the three fields (font, size and search) seem to slide down the screen below the tabs. I've included a screen shot. Restarting the program fixes the issue, but it is annoying to have to reopen all my tabs and to lose all my history.
Honestly, I have *never* seen this happen. The controls are placed at the time the toolbar is created, and there is no code that moves them.
Is it possible that you have some kind of screen managment software that may be doing this, either scaling, moving, or repositioning windows? Some kind of virtual desktop or multiple monitor support or something?
Can you pinpoint anything specifically you do during the session that seems to trigger the change?
Does this happen all at once or gradually over time until you can't see the buttons any more?
Brian
Hi Brian - This is on a windows XP professional laptop. Nothing special is running. I don't notice any movement until I resume operations after shutting the lid on the laptop and putting it into hibernate mode. After a few days of this, those items slide below the tabs.
Very strange. I have not been able to reproduce this yet.
If anyone else can chime in here, I'd appreciate it.
Brian
