Would it be possible to add functionality for "Smart Buttons" or "Quick Buttons" to Absolute Telnet? These would be programmable buttons that could be clicked to paste a specific key sequence. Netterm and other clients have had this functionality for years.
Thanks!

AbsoluteTelnet has keymapping, which lets you send text at the click of a key. Check out
Options->Properties->VTOptions->Edit Keymap
That may do. I was interested more in something that a user could click rather than having to remember specific key sequences. We're looking to replace our current telnet client within our group of the company. Some users have things like frequently-used commands, SQL statements, and things like that. The current client has a button that shows up below the toolbar that the user can label whatever they want and click it to essentially paste the contents.
Let me check around and see what the general consensus is on the keymapping. I didn't realize this was pretty much the same thing.
Thanks!
