According to the Version History page, the current production version of Absolute Telnet is 3.80, dated March 8. However, while we were trying to debug a problem on my machine, I downloaded various versions, most of which had debugging code added. I have a version 3.80 on my machine dated February 24. I started to download the version from the C.S. website but cancelled it, as the download was just for an "Absolute.exe" with no version number as part of the name. So I am wondering what is the current production version and how can I tell whether I have it?
I missed Brian's latest post in the other thread we had going. I will presume that the version 3.80 I already have is the production version unless I hear otherwise.
3.80 is the latest official version. You were probably the first to get
it. It wasn't 'officially' released for another week or so. The official release doesn't have the version number attached to the filename. There is only one official version at a time.

Thanks. I will presume that the version 3.80 I downloaded on Feb. 24 is the production version. Incidentally, I switched my emulation to xterm after I started using some new features on my new Unix ISP, and I am getting excellent results with color. Good product, Brian. I am getting my money's worth! I even recommended it on an ISP in-house newsgroup in reference to someone looking for particular features.
