Hello, I use the crisp editor on linux, and most of the key commands in crisp are F3 functions
ie: F3 - split window.

My question is how do I get Absolute telnet to use these F keys? right now if I press F3 to split the screen, the crisp editor does not respond correctly. the only telnet/ssh app the works with my editor is putty.

Thanks

Which version of Crisp are you using? The trick to getting the F keys to work is to pick the right emulation for your program. A robust program should be able to recognize FKeys for any specific terminal, but an older program may be expecting certain values for the FKeys that may not be what your terminal is using.

Do you have the latest version of Crisp?

What version of Absolute are you using?

Brian, thanks for getting back to me.
The version of crisp is v8.0.6c-2655, and Absolute is version 4.01 One command I did get working was my alt-x command for exit. this worked by placing an check next to Left ALT on the VT Options tab. now for those F keys...

Thanks
