Is it possible to have tabs? So if I am ssh'ing into 5 or 6 machines I do not have 5 or 6 separate windows open?
Also, maybe I am missing something, but how do I make it list common ssh sites when i start absolutetelnet so I do not have to type them in each time?

Currently, a tabbed interface is not available, but it is becomming more and more frequently requested. It is on the TODO list, but not very high. The workaround, as you said, is to have multiple windows open. In XP, multiple windows of the same type will often be grouped as a single item in the taskbar, so you can close them all as a group, tile the windows, cascade, etc....

After you set the options for a particular host, choose File->Save to save to a config file. To re-establish the connection to that host, just double-click the config file.
The config files work best when they are placed somewhere you can get to them easily. Place them on the desktop for easy access, or on your quick-launch bar for 1-click connections to your host.
You can even right-click on the config file and choose 'Properties' to modify the connection settings of that particular config file.
The most recently used ones will even show up in the File-> menu inside of AbsoluteTelnet.

Now that Absolute Telnet has tabs, is there a keyboard shortcut to switch between them? It seems to me that if I'm using an interface that is text based rather than icon based, it is much easier to leave my hands on the keyboard as much as possible. I find Ctrl+Tab to be a very handy shortcut in other aps.

ctrl-tab (forward) and shift-ctrl-tab (backward)
If you have a mouse or kboard with navigation buttons, the forward and backward buttons will do the same.
It would be nice if there was a shortcut key for opening new tabs. Currently you have ALN-N for both New Window and New Tab (click File, New to see), and using it opens a new window.
