AbsoluteTelnet supports international data in many different forms. It sports a user interface available in eight different languages (English, Chinese, Portuguese, French, German, Russian, Norwegian, and Hungarian). International data can be accommodated in many forms (see below)
AbsoluteTelnet/SSH includes:
- UTF-8 support
- Legacy character set translation for Russian, Chinese, Japanese and Korean character sets
- Support for all ISO-8859 character sets and WIN-125X derivatives
- Eight UI languages to choose from at install time.
- Unicode 5 support for bidirectional text, combining characters, surrogates, and shaping
- Support for IME and multinational keyboards
