Changing machines 21 Years, 6 Months ago

I am moving to a new laptop and I was wondering how to go about moving my registered version of Absolute Telnet to the new machine. Or will I have to re-register the new version?

If you uninstall the old version or are reformatting the system for re-use, you may install the software on another machine by re-installing the shareware version from the web site. Then, re-apply the license that you received when you purchased. If you cannot locate the license, contact me.

Hi,
How do you actually "apply" your registration when you change PC's? I have my licence.trg on floppy and I transferred it to c:Program FilesAbsolute Telnet but it didn't "take" and I get the software coming up with the 'buy' incon on it.
Thanks in advance for your reply.

Just double-click the .trg file. If AbsoluteTelnet is installed, it will load the license file automatically.
