Celestial Software

I upgraded to v 5.01 and now my saved profiles have lost their passwords. Is there a way to reverse this? In other words, I have aprox 75 saved configuration files that used to have passwords stored and now the passwords are lost. I would rather not have to enter each password again if possible.

I'm taking a look at this. If you want, you can return to 4.61 until I get this worked out...

That seems to have fixed it. I installed the 5.05 version and opened 4-5 server files and they had the saved passwords like they should.

I have used absolute telnet for several years. This is the first time that I have even emailed support I think. It is great and I will keep using it. It's great that you keep developing it all the time.

I use it 6-7 days a week up to 18 hours a day. A buddy of mine told me about another ssh client the other day that did tabs like firefox. I thought to myself "man that's a great idea".... about a week later you came out with the tabs haha... So I get to use the tabs AND keep using absolute telnet too... Can't beat that with a stick ;-)

Thanks for the feedback and the bug report. It's good response from customers like you that keep AbsoluteTelnet on the cutting edge! It was by customer request that the tabs came to the top of my 'todo' list in the first place.

BTW, what other terminal app does your friend use that does tabs?
